Transportation

Unless you are planning a “staycation” on your well broken in couch, where ever you decide to go, you are gonna have to get there. Here in the states, I highly DON’T recommend a train or bus. Unless you are looking for drugs and being a victim of a stabbing that is, then by all means, go for it. Also, on the logical side of it, in America our trains are often just as expensive, if not more expensive than flying and take up to 2 days of travel time. And I think I speak for most of us when I say my time is valuable and I never seem to have a surplus of expendable leave/vacation time to waste on a 2 day smelly bus or train when I could have flown to the same place on a smelly airplane in 2 hours for less. Overseas, trains and buses have my full recommendation, here-not so much. I have a pretty decent system for finding pretty great deals for the hardest part of traveling, the flight. Also, if you’re down for a combo pack of travel-fun, you can start with Rome2Rio, an amazing way to connect the transportation dots.
